    Mercedes Benz SL500 Factory Deck

Hey, I know this is a long shot but I thought I'd ask you guys anyway.

So I happen to have one of these lying around. It's from a '03 SL500 w/ a cassette and a lil screen approx 2"x3.5". I'm guessing that the car came with another deck for CD/DVD/Navi what not.
Anyways, its in perfect condition. Only downside for anyone in N.A. is that the radio frequency is set for Japanese radio frequency.

Now I don't feel like throwing this away because its so nice. I just wanted to know if you guys know where I could sell it.

    thanks

yup, do that. if its just laying around, why not make some money off of it.

I had the oem head unit from my ITR in my garage, threw that shit on ebay, got nearly $200 for it.

Not only that but it's probably a coded unit like our head units.

Is it the COMAND module? Brand new it's worth well over a thousand bucks, but the problem is that the car is so new that even if you put it on the 'bay for $50 nobody will take it. Keep it and think of it as an investment: Ten years from now the list price will only be higher while the part will have a tremendous failure rate due to its age. Cha-ching!! :D

It's not. You need the factory DAS hardware to code it.
