    iPhone E30 Mount

Im days away from breaking down and picking up the 3G(s) iphone. In doing my preliminary research today, I couldnt find a decent iphone mount that could bolt to the dash. I have a fairly long commute and Im not interested in a suction cup or airvent mount because they all look pretty weak. Any of you guys using a hefty mount, maybe something mounted to the dash? Thanks

I've used their cheap air vent mount with success. Slightly tricky to install, but after a minute fiddling with it I got it in there very well. Great to use for navigation.

There is also a mount/arm that bolts up to the passenger side seat rail. Ive seen it in a friends car. Seems to be universal. That's probably the only one I'd consider using myself.

I like the windsheild, suction cup mount. It keeps the screen visible while driving. I love it while I have the nav app running.

I just got the one from AT&T and it works (surprisingly) well.

hmm, might have to try the velcro idea out. Im just not to fond of the suction cup mark on my windshield as Ive heard thieves often look for those because the car may contain GPSs

iphone is overrated. try a g1 if your in the market for a great phone.

                      I did this.

Its a stick on magnet that adheres to the center console. Then a thin metal sticky adheres to my iphone's case.

Barely use my phone and don't want a $120 for a plan so I'll stick with my old service.

Use my Ipod with a FM modulator but put it on shuffle out of sight in glove box.
