    Lucky location

I happen to live 3 blocks from the shop of one of the best-know bmw guys: Bill Arnold, who is notorious for is engine swaps and frankenstein cars, like the s50/e28/bavaria that won the targa newfoundland, and the s50/318is that rocked at the One Lap of America... And I haven't gone to his shop yet! I just saw his sign the other day, and I'll stop in with a camera. The only thing better would be lving near the mchenrys!
There are a few other folks around here that do some bimmer work:
see www.marinmotorsports.com . They did a pretty sweet build from the bare metal up of an e46. I worked next door to them at the time, and loved seeing it go together. They definitely got me interested in the world of bmw performance.

Bills a good friend. We get his cars for ~1 mo every year before Targa N.

I loved driving the Bavaria.
