US Ellipsoids to Sealed beams swap

A neighbor of mine is trading his 88 325iA for a newer car. It has US Ellips, and I have an xtra set of sealed beams, which I want to swap. He has no problem with me doing it since the deal is already through, and will be giving up the car on Friday.
I've searched but did not find a writeup on this swap (plenty on sealed beams to Ellips). Anyone ever done it?
    Thanks,
    Danny

ever thought of just reversing the process for switching from sealed to Ellips?? It's crazy thought I know, it would take WAY to much brain power to think that one through.

Don't sealed beams have an extra wire?
