As a moderator are you required to make asinine comments?

In the same amount of time it took you to come up with that snappy remark you could have wrote something intelligent about why 325e's should be passed up.
A junk motor in an old rusted out chassis.

    500 bucks tops.

My comment was not asine, you stated that you're looking for a daily driver type car, you then stated that you wanted to swap a $6+k high maintenence motor into this car. This same car which has rust (which e30's should not have) and shot brakes. You obviously don't know what you're looking for, so hence I made my comment. I was completely serious.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

I don't know what im looking for, which is why I came to this forum. Members of this forum know a lot more about E30's than I do. Ive seen S14 swaps into E21's and I was curious if that kind of swap would be anything worth pursuing and the way people responded I learned quick that it wouldnt be worth it. Then, a couple days later I was contacted by some guy through BF.C that he was selling his 87 325e. Sorry you thought these two posts were directly related which isnt the case.

      Back on topic:
Where is the best place to find E30s for sale?
Ive tried autotrader and I yeild very few results for E30s in the Milwaukee area or Northern VA area where I live. Roadfly only has a few in my areas, and I can never find anything even remotely close on ebay.

Just keep looking man, they just have a way of popping up.

Your location is gong to complicate things since there is occasional bad weather that can be horrible to cars. Not only does that make finding a good body harder but it drives the price up.

If your intent is to build it up to a badass car maybe look into getting one from a southern climate where they havent been dealing with winters for the last 15 years. If your intent is a daily then do the $500 thing.
          Im now E30less.
