I am replacing my fuel pump becasue of a hard starting issue I am trying to fix and wondering if I need to keep this little..."accumulator" part. I have seen it on some pumps and not on others. It seems like it could leak as it just presses on and that is the sort of problem I am having...loosing fuel pressure when sitting. So can I just replace this thing with a piece of fuel injection hose?
