    Testing A/C lines?

Wasn't sure where to post this, might seem like a simple thing but considering that the newest e30 is still 15+ years old makes me think that some of these a/c lines probably go bad over time.

I have enough A/C lines for two complete A/C systems, and I want to install the better of the bunch in my car. How would I go about testing them, obviously the metal lines as long as they aren't broken or damaged they shouldn't leak. Now, how about the two lines behind the glove box and the big flexable line under the hood going to/from the a/c compressor?

I just don't want to install a line w/o knowing 100% that they are good, then have an A/C shop charge my system and then have a line leak etc. Would any A/C shop test them under pressure out of the car?

Kind of a safe bet that if the hose wont twist at the crip coupler that they are good.

Find a way to plug them up then put vacuum to them and see if they hold.
