    Runs like SHIT

My car isnt doing too good so Im asking you guy for some help on this one because I cant figure it out.

here is a short story of whats been going on with my car.

A few weeks ago my water pump started to die so i ordered the super water kit from pelican parts and everthing in the kit was replaced on Monday then yesterday my car started to act weird. It is cutting out on power and the temp guage is all over the place not giving me a good reading (I have a temp gun and have checked the upper and lower radator hoses both are at 170 after a hard drive in +110F heat). To elaborate on the power issue this is the best i can explain it when im driving at 45 mph it will cut out and feel like its on 2 or 3 cylinders it will stay like that until its full throttle (and even then it feels under powered) or i let off the gas

I did this about a month ago and i replace the fuel filter and added injector cleaner that worked but now its back It pisses me off

    Note about recent car repair
    super water kit
    fuel filter
coolant sensors (the two on top of the thermostat)
    and a gas line linkage

I also rest the ecu. that didn't help.

Thanks for any hint tips and help :D

If your temp-gauge is jumping all over the place I would look at your thermostat first off.
Are you loosing coolant? Do you have to top-off the radiator ever once and a while?

thermostat is new and no i don't lose coolant the sensor are new and the bolt behind the gauge itself is on tight. so i think its a grounding issue:?

make sure that your crank sensor wire isn't rubbing on the accessory belts.

bleed out the cooling system again. maybe the temp sensor that the ECU uses has an airbubble trapped by it, so it is giving false readings..... sounds stupid but it can happen.

Who did the work on the car? Could the belt have jumped a tooth and is now causing the poor performance?

Just talking from experience in the past on an E21 a shop repaired while I was on deployment. Needed new valves because the tensioner backed off and let the belt slip.

It was me and my step dad at his shop we checked it multi time also it would run bad all the time not when it wants too

We both think some of the fuel injectors are bad
so if anyone has 6, 19lbs fuel injectors in good working condition please send me a pm thanks

                    First thing I thought.

Also, when you replaced your water pump, did you replace the Tbelt, cap and rotor? If so the timing could be off? Im not sure if the distributor timing is adjustable, though on E30s.

Check to make sure you have the right connections on the right temp sensors.
one more thing, does the temp needle jump around whe you apply the brakes, turn on your headlights, use your blinkers?
It may be your main ground has loosened up on the top left of your oilpan. I know, I know.... just check it.
