    325e to next

    Quick Story:

I was going to receive a red 85 325e 200k+ from a buddy in LA (Santa Monica) for free. He hasn't driven it for a year, so it's been in the garage for a long time. I think it's registered as a garaged vehicle or something like that. I live in the bay area, and supposedly the DMV changed the rules so that he can only take it out one day at a time, and he would have to make a couple trips to the DMV so he can check it out with the mechanic before I make the 300+ mile drive.

I would like a car soon, and I have the option of buying another e30 for ~2000, and I can put around 1000 for maintinance and another 1000 for wheels/suspension/kits. If I were to purchase an e-30 for around 3000-4000, what model should I go with? (I am still a little new to this e-30 buisness)

Should I wait a month or two and go with the free e30, assuming I can put another 2000 for maintince and mods, or should I go with another e30?

    Thanks
    -mike-

The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

          "318is."

Why should I get the 318is as opposed to another model? say, for example 325is

"buy mine! http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=&ni...iew&ad=1445970" - your car looks nice but a little too expensive for now. thanks though haha

            318is. if you want a 4 banger.
i never really loved 6 cyls, but im thinking about getting a 325is myself (if not a 318is).
....or the 318i you saw on my profile, fo frizzles.
just that it has a shitload of problems i need to get fixed, would probably cose the same as getting a beater IS.

            ...so I ponder...
