    DIVX Player over Windows Media?

I'm thinking of just removing Windows media player from my system altogether, as I like the features and interface of the DIVX player much more. I watch all the videos and movies on my computer with it, videos open MUCH faster with it than with WMP, and I play CD's w/ Winamp, so I never use WMP anyway. Anyone else done the same?

VLC is good on the mac, and i know they make a windows counterpart.

Can't speak for how it is on that platform, though.
