Cashing in my 325i clunker, what to strip off of the car?

Hi all, I'm finally parting with my 1989 325i thanks to "the man" and them giving me a $4500 incentive on a new car. It wont be out of my hands until tuesday. What are some good items to take off of the car for resale or someone else to use? Keep in mind that the car has to still be drive-able.

Obviously I'm going to take out the jack and the tools just because. Probably take off the badges too for momentos etc. Are there any high-want bits that would be good to salvage before it gets wrecked?

So no one kills me - the car looks pretty sad as is - leather is ripped, paints all faded, some of it is rusting. It wont pass california smog and the transmission is dying as well ( grinds shifting into 1st, 2nd, and a little in third).

    Maybe bumpers and front valence?

Probably nothing too in demand from the sound of it especially since it isn't an IS. You have the maplight or 13 button OBC? Which stereo?

That's right, I didn't think about the bumpers. Find someone with metal ones that you can trade your plastics and cash for if you can get it done quick.

        How are your fogs?
Do you have weaves? If so I'll trade my bottle caps with tires.

Bumpers, valence, dashboard if crack free, some interior bits like center console, things like that.

Those elipsoids are worth something. Map pockets on the doors, etc.

Wow that actually looks rather nice. Headlights and fogs. Rear seat and headrests also

Your sending that to the wreckers!? What are you going to replace it with? Wow I like that steering wheel. I can come over right now or tomorrow afternoon. PM me your address and phone number.

That's awful, there's nothing wrong with that car that deserves to be smashed like that.

I am pretty close then I am south of the 94 near college. I have my wheels in the shed if you do want to trade, I don't have to have them since I don't even use these wheels currently but would rather send bottlecaps to the crusher than weaves. 3 tires are pretty good but I have a good spare. I don't think they are going to be picky at all since they are going to crush the cars.

Looking at the car. You have good headlights and fogs.
Rear headrests are nice and I am sure someone would want your front seats.
bumpers are perfect, the stereo looks ok, so are the shifter and boot and OBC.
I am sure there is a lot more but those listed above are usually in demand and really easy to remove.

Well the 318iS doesn't qualify after doing quick research. I still have the e38 under my name though. After I sold it to my pops, that car has been run to crap by his girl. Wouldn't mind limping that in the dealership for a rebate.

I could sell the M Parallels off it too
