    I'm Leaving e30's for a while...

So as the title says I am leaving the e30 community for a while, but I will be back. I was going to get another e30 but stumbled across this :nice:

I am suppose to pick it up in the next few days. Mechanically it is in nice shape, but has miner body dents on a few panels and around the left brake light. the paint is also a bit faded and it has minor rust in non accentual places. The headliner and some of the interior is also kind of messy.
I have some fun plans for it that involve fender flares and stage 2 IE springs but that will take some time because I have some other things that will be soaking up my moneys. For now it will just be a nice little DD car.
I will still stick around here because I still love e30s and enjoy reading progress updates about all your guy's cars. ;)
    cheers

I will be selling one or two cool little things for e30s. I have some clear euro turn signal lights and some fog light blanks and a few other things. I will be posting up a for sale add later. Now off to work...

thats an acceptable alternative to an e30. now you just need to stumble across an s14.

hahaha. yeah i love it when i stumble across s14's. here in san francisco the city of gold they are just laying around on the streets and you can just pick them up and pop them in your pocket. ;)
i kind of want to keep the carb set up. i like the sound. i want two carbs and a cam. we will see what happens further down the road. maybe turbo? i do not need to adhere to carb laws with this car.

I'm on the trail of a 72 2002 "for my wife". Needs extensive rust repair but interior and drivetrain is in excellent shape (plus it has a sunroof). x2 on the dual carbs and cam.... emission laws are for sissies:hitler: Good luck w/ your new wheels and keep up the pics

You should post '02 progress on here. I'm interested in seeing what happens to it.

mine has a sun roof as well. not only that it's leak proof. the previous owner put a bunch of money into getting it to work right. mine has a bit of rust around the bottom of the back window and a bit of surface rust here and there but only paint chip sized spots.

yeah my bumpers are ether going euro or getting deleted all together.

first things first im adding my alpine head unit, doing some wiring, installing some speakers, an electronic ignition, a urethane steering coupler, and some briter lights. this cars first job will be as a school to work comuter. after i save some money it will be suspenssion and wheels and tires. then the engine.
