Im looking to get an e30 for the winter and as a daily to retire my m3. I found one local and its a 87 325e coupe 5 speed. It has 190k on it and drives very well.
The Bad:
-minor rust bubles on the sunroof and rear passenger fender
-headliner is damaged and sagging
-driver seat tear on the left bolster(cloth interior)
-needs new brake lines
-sloppy shifting feel(im guessing bushing)
-horrible paint, its peeling.
-very small power steering fluid leak
-minor fuel leak(return hose)
The Good:
-motor runs good
-cold ac
-clutch and slave cylinder replaced within the last year
His asking price is 1500. He said the absolute lowest he will go is 1400. What would you do in my situation? I am a poor college student.
