Does an E36 Getrag hook up to an M54? Yes.

Is it easy to hook up an M54 to an E30? No.
Hoveringuy has developed some electronics to help you drop the engine in, but if you aren't that experienced with swapping or forming coherent sentences, you may have some trouble getting it to work on the first turn of the key.
