I was doing a structural survey today for a building which has been condemned by the DOB and the fire department. Of the 120 or so cars that were there when the FD showed up a couple of months ago, these are what's left.

It is a parking garage with some serious structural problems. The owner is trying to save the building, so the cars will probably be saved. I think that the ones which are still there have leans on them (ie. the car owners owe $ to the garage owner).

That corvette has some serious work into it. Not my style, but I can appreciate the effort. Before I uncovered it I thought that it was firebird from the front, then I saw the wheel arches, and the trunk line looks like a Saleen S7 from the top. I was so confused. If I go back I'll look under the hood to see what she's packin'.

The Buick Eight was on the road as recently as 1988 and the Mercury Meteor was practically mint. The Ninety Eight was pretty dope too. All I could think about was how much a front or rear windshield must cost.

There were two sharks; the one that you see and another without the Mtechnic goodies. The one you see is a 635csi but it has some pretty bad rot and some front end damage.

Other than that there were some GSXR's, a Hayabusa, and a fleet of chinese delivery motos.
