    Help Question: E30 320i or 325is??

When I bought the car, the owner specified the car was a 325is and I stuck with the idea until today when I verified the VIN with a decoder and it told me my car was a 320i. Now I don't know who to trust. Pictures of my car are available on: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/707645
    It pisses me off cause my car would go from a 2.5 L V6 168hp to a 2.0 L V6 129hp.
    I'd appriciate any help.

    Phil.

well your first problem is that its not a v6.....

looks like it has the correct motor for a 325i though.
      Below the radar...

Maybe someone should tell him he has an I6?

Or should we just let him be confused?

320i says I and if you really want to know look here on this dat palte underhood. See the data plate on the upper right corner or the picture? That is the vin plate for EU spec cars. It lists the vin and engine size.

i guess the previous owner did a plastic bumper swap.

The car could look nice, right now it looks really ghetto with the mismatches wheels and different sized tires :?

Its a 320i. Just look at the difference in the intake manifolds.

I checked the data plate like M-technik-3 suggested and it turns it is a 320i. Thanks for the help and correcting me on that V6 thingy.

My 1987 325is has the coolant bottle there. That is normal.
