how far have you gone to save money for car parts?

i'll start.... towards the end of winter when i was saving money for my suspension instead of buying new pants i just kept sewing the one pair that i had up. the ripped on the but and the knee. luckily i only had to do this for a month then i just started wearing shorts.

i'd say that's going pretty far.

i generally just stop eating out and bring lunch from home. Then again, i haven't bought a pair of shoes in forever.

havent had to go to that extreme just yet, everytime im short on cash, i either borrow from a friend with interest (free parts) or just buy something on CL thats too good of a deal to pass up and resell to make profits :)

oh yeah and have a job that pays way over $6/hour hahaha!
