i like 2pac...a lot. this posthumous realse shit they keep doing with his garbage tracks gets ridiculous, though. they need to give the man the respect he deserves and let him fucking rest. i can't believe they are still milking money off a guy who has been dead for over 8 years using throwaway tracks.
as for eminem, he's run out of steam as far as production goes, the last track he made that actually sounded good was drug ballad on marshall mathers LP. ever since then all his shit has been the exact same, cornyass "dark" synth string melody with a sine wave and drum track. woopdedoo. no better than lil jon.

There are only limited numbers of OGs, that Afeni Shakur still have the rights to. The albums that have been coming out are pretty much all remixed in studio.

2Pac has appeared in more than 2 movies. There have been many documentaries too.

With all the hype that he is still alive, I think they marketed it really well to really make some fans believe that he is in fact alive.

Well either way, 2Pac is my fav. artist, one of his album is in my CD player 99% of the time. I'm happy to see any 2Pac album come out, it's better than nothing.

I have a hopeful belief that they used Eminem, so that 2Pac fans AND Shady fans would go out and buy Loyal to the Game album - maybe with the 'poppy' tracks, some mainstream Shady fans will start liking pac, and this would promote future, better produced albums.

And I'm sure one of these days, maybe for 10th year of his death, they will release a box set, that'd be sweet.

None of these albums beat the classics, but I really don't care, because everyone knows that the classics are classics because they are no longer going to ever be replicated - so I will take the compromise and take these remixes and be happy 8)

Didn't even blink an eye whe he died. I hate gangsta rap. Most rap in general, actually.

I don't mean to piss anyone off by saying that, and if you do get pissed, it's your twisted panties and not mine. I don't have any sympathy for people who die by way of a culture and a lifestyle that they themselves help to propagate, famous or not. And people are always telling me, "if it was the singer of a rock group, you would care". Not if they died because of something stupid like drugs or alcohol, or a shooting. I didn't feel sorry for Shannon Hoon when he died of a drug overdose, and I loved Blind Melon. I didn't feel all mopey when Elliot Smith commited suicide, because all that showed to me was that he was a coward. Same goes for any other rock, pop, or metal band member who dies in the same way. I've got no respect for people who are so hopelessly wrapped up in their own pain and pity that the only thing they can do is to get lost in drugs or kill themselves. And the same goes for Tupac, Biggie, and all the rest of the rappers and otherwise who get killed in drive-by's and shootouts. If you're going to live your life as a gangbanger and a criminal, that's the way you're going to go out, and if you can't deal with that, you'd better find another fucking line of work. When it pisses me off and gets me upset is when it spills over onto those who had nothing to do with that kind of life, like when Jam Master Jay was murdered. THAT got me depressed, and and THAT got me pissed off. Because the lifeless pile of human waste that shot him is out there still somewhere free.

tupac shakur, before he died, practically dedicated his life into making music. He spent from morning till night making songs for months straight. He recorded so many lyrics and hooks that it still makes it debut until today.

No, the History Accuracy Police will not come and get you, however, you will live a life of ignorance and shame, when you can not accept the fact from someone who have had more information collected than you.

Being a rebel is not being a criminal - and being a rebel can often get you killed. If you go with the theroy that Suge Knight had him killed (the case is still unsolved, where this theory remain strong), the murder was simply for money.
