Depends on what you mean by "reasonable". I'd personally like to get a set of cocomats, but a custom fit set of just front mats runs about $100. www.cocomats.com

I got BavAuto joints. I liked them when I took them out of the box, but the driver's mat bunched up pretty quick and got in the way of the pedals, so now I just don't have one there. I wouldn't get them again.

towels work, too. I dunno, though. My gf got some cheap shit rubber/plastic ones from the 99 cent store to protect her real ones from dirt, but all they do is roll up into the firewall and annoy the hell out of me. if you're gonna get some, just make sure they actually stay in place.I retired my E30 for now...

The factory floormats in my Audi 90 have holes at the corners to anchor them to "buttons" (just basically screws sticking up) in the carpet. The mats NEVER move.
On the other hand, the floor mats in my old '87 'is' would bunch up all the time. Always right into the gas pedal = fucking annoying. I might have to rig up something in my new bimmer like how Audi did it.
Anyone have any tricks on how to get E30 floor mats to stay put for more than 5 minutes?Comment
