    is diferences

I was wondering what the diferences are over the years for an e30 325is. I am looking at one that does not have a rear lip spoiler and has "bottle cap" 14 inch wheels. Is that orig?
    TIA
    John
ps. the one I'm looking at is a 91

      is or not is

I can understand the wrong wheels but no rear trunk lip spoiler but no evedence of paint work and it does have the 325is badge. Oh I was wrong in my first post in that it is not a 91 but a 90. I'm sure that won't make a diff......
      Thanks

Well it would make a difference, because the only IS car in 1991 was the 318is, the 325is ended in 1990 to be replaced by the 325i Luxury Edition

is or not i, that is the question

The car is in fact an i. I got a car fax on it today. Looks like a nice car, but there is a 325is badge on the back. That kinda rubs me the wrong way. :?

That's definitely not an IS. It looks to be an option-less 325i.

Im pretty sure someone who is on here searching for an E30 went and looked at that car and it had a 4" rust hole in the rocker panel.
                  Im now E30less.

                    Well, its good

Well, its good I didn't bid on it then. I have been swearing up and down that I WILL NEVER BUY A RUSTY CAR AGAIN.
I travel all over the USA and I have thought of buying something in Ca to TX and driving it home.
                    The serch continues
