My reward for a favor to Clangsten :) & good news! no 56

Chris wanted to have me check to see if the stock wheels and center caps can fit over the stud kit I got.....so I had to drive to my dealership, where I work, to borrow one from a co-worker's dad. And this is what I see when I pull in!

    HOTNESS!

and the good news, it does fit. this is even over the blackforest longer studs. (no spacers behind stock wheel though)

Since I don't have a garage on campus, or really room to store shit in my appt there.....this is what I cruise with.

    And anyone enjoy this picture?

Messing with my car in front of the dealership. Speaks to the nature of E30 drivers I believe. That and it was funny to have the people I know there come say hi to me.....or joke about what illegal items I am selling out of my trunk.

eh, correct. Not many, but the lugnut did go around about 8-10 times, so it met the minimum requirement of 6 rotations easy. I feel good on the longer stud though. Longer ~53mm if my conversion is right. The 45mm ones are supposedly stock replacement.

You still haven't answered me: Vibrations with 8mm spacers?

Those studs don't go past the stud end at all, that's awesome. I'll be ordering a set for sure now. Thanks a lot man.

Yes. Vibrations with the 8mm spacers. People have said if the wheel isn't perfectly balanced, vibrations would be magnified, or another plausable reason - that if the wheel isn't absolutely corrected mounted, it will move and shift - causing vibration.

Thought so. And don't believe those people, measure the hub lip on the car, and look at how the hub on the wheel is shaped. There is absolutely no contact going on with the 8mm spacer.

I sure hope I can pull off 3-5mm spacers on my new wheels, which have a chamfered middle too (though not as much as yours).
