I wanted since I saw my first M3 in 1988....

I was walking home from school and saw a Brilliantrot stopped under a light....since that day I knew I had to have one.

    my first e30 was a '89 325i in 92 and a '88 M3 in 1996.

Because everytime I fly somewhere and get a rental car, I realize I should've just driven the e30 down.
For instance, I'm currently driving an '08 Yukon, and everywhere I drive, here on the Colorado state highways, I wish I was carving the corners in my little Henna, rather than floating through them in the behemoth.

Are you doing any track days in the 318is, or keeping that one away from the races? I'm just buttoning the black car up now so that it will be ready for a few events in the fall and didnt know if you were going to be out or not.
2500 is still very light; my black 3liter car was 2620 though it was a late model. You should be happy with the 5-lug setup, I'd only suggest to get the biggest front brakes possible. I was never happy with my 3liter car at CMP because I was limited by the stock 4-lug setup, even with Carbo's or HT10's...it had a nice suspension and killer driveline but the brakes just weren't there.

I'll be tracking the white 318is but not until next Spring. Hopefully we can get up and do a trackday together, that would be a lot of fun.

Its my daily driver because its inexpensive to repair when it it does rarely break down, and its good on gas.

Because my favorite movie is Wall Street, I lust after Polo apparel, and I seek status. Plus Tiffany Amber Thiessen drove one in Saved by the Bell.

I drive an E30 because my '02 had only 2 doors and the back seat was not big enough for the child seats.

I drove an '02 because I could never find a nice, affordable Alfa Romeo Giulia Super.

I wanted a Giulia Super because I could not fit the kids in the Miata.

So... I guess that I drive an E30 because it's the closest thing to a Miata with 4 doors/seats.

... I consider this a compliment to the E30 - they are fantastic, fun cars that offer the utility that classic sport cars can not. I am sure that some of the less secure ones will not ... - but I do not care. If you are not secure in yourself - not my problem ...

Is it my imagination, or is the OP's tone taking on that all-familiar mood that happens when noobs first post here? The "why are these guys shitting on my thread when they don't even know me" one?
