im doing an M30 swap and iv just been reading about the WAR chip and how it is great for keeping the cost down for tuning the m30. This got me thinking, since im running the m20i wiring harness on the m30... the m30 ECU fits the m20 harness and all that... could it be possible for guys that are doing m20 budget strokers or any kind of m20 build that don't want to go with megasquirt for some reason. To use the 179 m30 ECU, epquiped with the WAR chip and use the m30 injectors and AFM and just tune everything to the m20?
i dont know if the WAR chip is available for the m20 or not or if anyone is already doing something like this.
It was just an idea that came to mind and i thought i'd share.
