Freaking awesome find @ Barnes & Noble - Tuningwerks

After looking through Bimmer and BMW Scene (with a 740 on 20" spinners, a E30 M3 with M5 engine......but was purple/pink and driven by a girl, and finally some more riced-out E36s),

I found Tuningwerks. It's thickly bound and the pages are heavy. The pages are also empty at times, and the magazine has few ads, fewer pages, but the content is good. Photography is fucking awesome and the cars kick ass.

$7, but well worth it, I am about to subscribe for $31 for 6 issues a year.

It's high quality and thick enough for a good coffee table book feel to it.

Product reviews. Artistic lay out and no clutter!

Featured ride. Clean as fawk, and cool.

    Definately cool.

    Wow.

Haven't read any yet, but I hope the author's are half intelligent. I'll update later about that.

When was the last time you had this in a car magazine?

It's a cool magazine, I've never bought an issue but I've looked through them at Borders and I like it. They had a special edition wheel guide a few months ago that was really good.

The green Jetta belongs to a local guy, the photo was at Alki beach. Cool car and TWC has some members with insane cars.

Word. Just glanced again.....read some. Definately good writing that compliments well the photography.

Definately belongs nicely kept and out in the open on a coffee table. Almost has a "Timelife Books" feel to it. Such good pictures and heavy pages.

And there's no ricer retailers, or too many ads in general. Nicely put together.
