handling is amazing, power is great, and they have a plentyful supply of aftermarket upgrades as well, all while retaining 30+ mpg
One of my friends from elementary school works at Mini and gave me keys to one of the Works editions a few months ago. I really enjoyed the car considering it is wrong wheel drive....took it down Fraternity Church rd at a very good clip and was impressed. Still liked the integra type R more and would have to take that if given the choice

btw, you can come pickup that parking light whenever, i'll leave it in the mailbox. no worries on monies

Not a bad idea. Just remember that there is no space...at all. Trunk will hold a case of beer at most. Remember the movie Go?

Minis = meh. Wrong wheel drive FTL. Buzzy engine even with an S. Nice for parking, impractical for much else in life.

Be like M Triple and get a 5spd 525 E39. Great gas mileage, great A/C and dual zone climate control... lots of airbags and safe like a tank.

The guy had an echo and was happy so why are people suggesting fun cars when he obviously want a practical car.

I can't get into something that small. Once I was in a Yaris and we got sideswiped by a CBR we lost our side mirror front bumper and left headlight and he kept going. Glad we got hit by something that weighs like 300 pounds and not a real car.
Used Acura TL/CLs are getting pretty cheap for a car a few years old those should get about 25 MPG pretty good and they are comfortable, reliable and can actually merge at highway speeds.

Don't overlook the Mazda 3's. If you hate the looks, fine, but they are fantastic DD's.

Idk about the newest model though, I liked the older styling more.
Me too. New one looks retarded. But it may grow on me as time passes.

I dunno.. I just cant roll with a Yaris. Mini is just cool to look at and Ive heard good things. I suppose if your looking for a newish ride there are a lot to consider, but does a e30 really get that bad a mileage?

Im thinking OP just wants a comfy, reliable AC ride and will be ok with something less eccentric as a e30. I can relate to the repair replace factor, but again.. I dunno, just cant going JDM.

                                Look up Propane AC recharge

The 'tuneup kit' should have you covered with two 6oz cans and a hose. You will also need an R134 adapter. They sell those at kragen. Better yet, you might be able to pull one off a JY car.
Two people I know have it, they blow FROST out of their e30. their temp gauge in the vents reads as low as 20ยบ . I highly recommend it, it is freezing.
