    i need job advice

now that is the holiday season... most of my money from lifeguarding this summer is gone, and i need some money to buy some car parts.. im still in high school too so
does anyone know of anywhere you can work part time and get decent pay other than a grocery store or summin like that?

I searched for about 18 months and finally landed the job I knew would pay off, being a bank teller. I started when I was 17, been there ever since working part time. The pay is great, I get all kinds of health/dental benefits (which you can also wave for some good cash), and it looks good on a resume. Not sure how many banks are open evenings/weekends around you, they are scarce up here. Otherwise, I've found that friends who work for small businesses doing clerical stuff (such as dental offices, law firms, etc.) are typically very happy with their pay and have a much better relationship with their bosses compared to those working in larger corporations.

    Good luck.

Be a package humper for UPS, that's quick and dirty seasonal work.

Age is dependent there, gotta be 18.

Also check out tax firms. They hire grunts to do data entry and it also pays pretty well. They need people from now till March.
            Im now E30less.

              Seasonal Jobs @ Department Stores
Fast Food (after this season you would probably leave anyways)
              Grocery Stores

If you say you just want a seasonal job, they most likely will take you - and probably keep you after the season if you don't put a gun to a customers head.

              -edit-

Even though those jobs may not be exciting some pay is better then no pay.

Word, if you can, work for UPS/FedEx/DHL etc.

They pay good for a seasonal job and its just manual labor.

Wash dishes, if you work somewhere that the kitchen gets a pool of the tips and hot waitresses you can pull a decent pay, most of my mods were purchased from washing dishes in the day. Or just work in a kitchen don't have to wash dishes but its harder to start off higher. During christmas I was making like 10 an hour to do stupid monkey work it was alright.

Factory jobs pay alright too, but fuck I found them super depressing for some reason (too many people with no ambitions and no highschool diplomas).

I work as a technican as a sports store now, used to work on the floor but dumb (cheap) people piss me off.

                      Sold it.
