I've got that exact same bra, the PO put it on to cover up a dent in the passenger side fender from hitting a deer. For that, it gets the job done. But since it's been on the car for over two years now, the paint underneath looks like garbage, there's small spots of rust that have popped up elsewhere. For short usage on a roadtrip, you should be fine.
It fits on just fine, in the summer at least. I wouldn't suggest trying to stretch it onto your car in the dead of winter, as it is a pretty tight fit. I don't know if you would have problems with the m-tech 2, you might have a bit hanging out the bottom if it's any bigger than my '91 IS valance.
edit: here's a couple pics from when I first pickup up the car with the bra on it. (BTW yes, it's hideous.)

They're ok for road trips and such, just don't leave it on for an extended period of time. They trap moisture, which can cause rust to form. Plus, they're ugly. :p
A better option is the clear laminate protectors. If you take your time, and use a heat gun, they're almost impossible to see and protect your paint like no other.
there are many companyies that will come to your house and apply the clear stuff. I knew a guy that used to travel state to state for a company that did highg end cars like lambos, ferraris ect... Its like there is nothing there at all
does lamin-x make any front covering for our cars?
