Ok, for those of you who i asked about computer selection, i went ahead and bought my computer today from dell. heres what i got Dimension 3000 with P4 3Ghz with HTT ( can someone explain HTT to me), 512MB RAM ( was pretty tempted to upgrade to 1 GB), 80GB HD ( was tempted to go to 160 MB), Flat screen 15", free printer, 2 day shipping free, 2 yr service plan, all for $717 out the door. I think i made out pretty well.

Also, i am in the midst of moving out for the first time in my life, by myself, into a houseish, condoish place w/ some people. As housewarming gifts for myself, i was wondering if its possible to buy alcohol online, even though im underage. Anyone tried this? Is it legal? Illegal? What if it comes from overseas?

Intel's hyperthreading technology.. basically your processor processes information at the same speed, but it can handle more load at once. You should notice a performance increase when using any programs that have been optimized for HTT, like Windows XP. That's my easy to understand answer.

The technical answer would be..

For alcohol online, depends on your state. Some states allow beer and wine to go over the border, some beer only, some wine only. For liquor you can only move it cross-border with an ATF license (or rather, sell it across borders).

And to top it off, the delivery driver has specific instructions to only deliver it to someone over 21, with signature confirmation.

Is the liquor law pretty strict in the US? Canada was slack a few years ago, but now, liquor stores and clubs actually scan your damn ID to verify your age, its pretty crazy.

Posession of a fake ID is prosecutable under the patriot act. Fuck if I want to get involved in that. I know a guy that was in the wrong place at the wrong time (making fakes) and he has since disappeared from the face of the earth.

I actually was looking at absinthe online, lol. I dunno charlie, just random drinks, I guess I could get someone 21 to go buy for me. Its a little bit more of a drive considering Westerville is a dry town, but that didnt really interfere :D this past quarter. I dunno, prolly woulda scored a bottle of Ketel One, maybe sometihng else.
