Im about to pick up an M50, but the owner said it has a blown headgasket. Id like to know if there are any other major parts (pistons, valves etc.) that may need to fixed since the car was driven after gasket broke. Whats the worst case scenerio here? Price?

Thanks, If it still drives does that rule out welded rings? They said it smokes, is that solid signs of a cracked head? Not being able to know for sure, what are some numbers you guys would offer for something like this?- " Ill Never again argue with an idiot. there is no way to know anything for sure without puzlling it apart. the bottom end bearings could be shot too-- kinda unlikely but possible if there was enough coolant in the oil for long enough.-- i would be pretty sure its just a bad headgasket-- but it all depends how long and what temps the motor was run at.-- head could be warped too-- would just neeed to be milled though to fix that.
