The ole' wrench against the pump trick got me home one day too! I carry one mean mobile toolbox, just for shit like that.

Either fuel or spark, definitely not air. Trying to figure what I could use for a screwdriver. Ahh, I am never leaving home without tools again. I swear.

hmmm I wonder if your obc code immobilizer took a crap. If this is the case your car should
- Crank
- No Spark
- No Fuel

I would check spark first with a screw driver (off the ignition coil), and fuel pressure by removing a fuel line off the rail.

Last resort... check your cam is spinning when you start the car.

I have zero tools, just the jack and spare tire. Not even a screwdriver or a wrench.

Definitely gas in tank, sloshing and definite non-hollow sound when I smack the tank from underneath the car. Been smacking the pump with my palm, no harder objects. Maybe my chuck taylors?

I tried to jump it with the battery pack until it went dead. It was cranking hard but nothing happened.

I'm sure you can push start the car.. get few people to push the car.

1. Turn off all accessories (radio, wipers, lamps).
2. Turn the key to the "on" position.
3. Depress the clutch pedal with your foot.
4. Put the transmission in first or second gear.
5. Release the hand brake and the foot brake.
6. Note that the people pushing need to get the car rolling as fast as they can. This works best down a hill or an incline.
7. Release the clutch pedal while giving the engine a little gas with the gas pedal once the car is moving about as fast as you can run. The engine should start.
