    Wet e30

Alright. . . I've had my 87 325is for almost a year and just recently I noticed every time it rains the floor on the drivers side gets wet. . . I was cleaning my car today and noticed that the entire bottom of the rear seat is wet. I have no idea what is leaking because the rest of the car is always dry. Anyone else have similar problems or places to start looking for leaks?

I thought the same thing at first but I checked (I poured water on the sunroof) and it worked correctly.

Is it possible for the water to go through the tailights/trunk without causing the trunk to get wet? The trunk carpet has never ever been wet. I have also never seen the trunk accumulate water.

No no no. Its the gasket that is on the firewall that seals the flange on your steering column that your gas pedal is mounted to.
