Sadly yes I've heard of it before. If I remember correctly it was a limited production special edition type thing. I still have no clue just wtf VW was thinking when they made that thing. :drink:

There is one in town here; I always thought the owner got some panels from other colored cars and put them on.

Quite honsetly I wish could be kidding. I'm ashamed that thing wears the same badge as my car :x .

I see one at one of the car show around here all the time. I always thought it looked a little fruity, had no idea it came like that.

My dad had an '86 Jetta. Sometime around 1996 we went into the dealership for service and they had one of those on the showroom floor full of nerf footballs. If a person guessed the correct amount of footballs in the car then he won a new Jetta. My whole family filled out the little cards and they ended up calling us saying that Jamie Webster had guessed the correct amount. Along with like eight other people. My parents went to a bar downtown and received keys, if a key started the car then they won the car. They ended up being the last people to go, and the person second to last won the car. Anyways, my whole family thought that that car was a special olympic edition since it was '96 and the games were in Atlanta.
