ive never seen a car beat a bike. 500hp or more, still never seen any close races. well a lot of times i see guys on bikes that are afraid to open them up... my buddy had a cbr900 for a year and was too scared to open it up for very long the whole time he had it.

An average rider on any sportbike built within the last 10 years should absolutely blow past any street-legal E30. But on the other hand, I've listened to kids complain that their R1 won't wheelie for crap. Seriously?!?

Good driver in a sorted E30 could beat a poorly-ridden bike. Highly unlikely though.

Buddy on his RC-51 got devastated on the highway by a ZO6 'vette. The two stayed side-by-side to ~140, then the Corvette kept walking. Definitely not the most common outcome from a bike-vs-car race though.
