Hey, I was referred to this site by a student at my college. I drive an 1987 325. It is a bit of a beater, it has really dodgy wiring, worn out springs, a disconnected right rear shock, ( rattles like mad). and numerous other borken and wornout parts. I just had new tie rods installed. ( $653). But it runs good. it is my first car. 90MPH is as fast as Ive been able to get it to go. What it lacks in speed, it makes up in its cornering ability. ( even with the worn springs and shocks, it still handles nicely. It get crap gas mileage, and has an exaust leak into the cockpit, ( Next on the "to-fix" list.) but I love driving it. as much as I love it, I would trade it for an 1987 M3, in a second. I'm really glad I was directed to this site, I've been looking for a good E30 Community. I will enjoy being a member here.
I'm new here.
