    GRM supercharged M42...

    Hi All,

I have been a silent spectator for the longest time and have been reading up bit her and bit there...

I heard it through the grape vine that someone ont his board bought the GRM supercharged E30 M42. Is that true? If so can somebody please tell me who it is...

    Reason for asking:

I am in the process of hooking up the DASC unit to my 91 318IC and am running into a couple of snags. Need some input and help in figuring out a couple of components.

Now before you all go beating my ass for more information I am documenting everything and will post a document of the install as soon as I am done...

Any help in locating that car would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    Sudeep :pimp:

Who bought it? If I don't know, well then they must not have been a member here for long.

There is an old DASC thread about the the car in the article that gets upddated by the fellow who currently owns the car. Had a quick look for it with no luck. Heres the Gr article.

I've seen the owner post over at M42club but I don't remember the screen name.

No worries boys got it working and it is sweet. I have driven it hard and haven't managed to ping it yet and that tooo on stock ECU, fuel pump and injectors (running it on 92 Oct or higher). Have not dyno'd it yet.
Maybe on Monday or tuesday I will take it to the dyno shop and see what it is doing....

do you know how much boost you're getting. I just bought another 318is and I'm tempted to try a supercharger

The pulley is rated fro 8 Lbs max. I have not verified that yet. Not sure if there is a way to telll without a boost guage...

I am planning to go to a dyno shop on Tuesday. Lets see what happens...

you need to post pics, youtube vids, and specs. I have been interested in a DASC for quite some time now.

Stumbled across another kit, I thought there was only the Downing Atlanta kit. I like the manifold better on this one:
