    Purchasing parts cars

This guy came up to me at the gas station and told me he had a totaled e30 318i and was looking to get rid of it for $350.

I got his number and I'm going go check it out. But first I wanted to see what I should look for.
At first I was just going to see if the car had anything I needed (cosmetically) but then got to thinking. What if i could get some extra money from parting it out?

Would it be worth it for a 318i? Not sure on the year, I was in a hurry, didn't ask.
And what I should look for in terms of good condition parts and which ones I should check.

    Much appreciation fellas. 8)

To me, if you can find good parts worth enough money to at least cover the purchase price, it's worth it.

Does it run? Body damage? Clear title?
I bought a 318i as a parts car (84, old school) but it is in such good condition I'm probably going to fix it and drive it. You can never have too many e30's.

How much room do you have? If you can store a spare car without having it create a headache, I would go for it.
