Got to go snowboarding for the first time this season

Finnally got to use my season pass for Whiteface today. Only 7 trails were open and they dont call it "Iceface" for nothing but it still felt damn good. Hopefully Ill get to duck out of class on Tuesday and get some more riding in.

Crap, ice is the worst boarding. Its worse than skiing. Get into some powder and then you can have some real fun.

And if you arent all beat up your first day you arent trying that hard. You need to catch and edge at least once to teach you why you dont want to catch an edge at speed.
      Im now E30less.

or your just good and dont catch edges haha.
lol, It wasnt very icy when i went. The only problem was the millions of people crowed onto 20 trails. Still worth it. :D

                    - 157 aggression (got it back in '98 for free from a friend who worked in the Volant/Aggression factory in Colorado)
                    - Airwalk boots that i bought back in '94
                    - closest mountain is Snow Summit in Big Bear, but my favorite has to be Arapahoe Basin or Squaw.

Yes i've been a snowboarder queer for that long. Long enough to see clicker bindings come and go, and I never made the switch 8)

I was just referring to begining at it. Because they make you slide to control your speed (at least in most of the classes I have seen).

I love it, its great. I cant really figure out why I couldnt get skiing but boarding came to me natrually. :? Just find me some virgin powder in a bowl and Im a happy man for days. Someday I am going to pay to be dropped from a heli so I can be where nobody is near.

Of course I love the glades, usually there are only 3-4 people on them at any given time.

the lamar was a freebie, just got the burton, it rocks my socks. visited bear and mammoth this season so far, i can honestly say global warming is a good thing. i can't remember the season being this good so early. it's crazeee. i wanna try and see if i can get a deal on a forum demo from a kid in my class. this season is shaping up to be the best in years!

I will be boarding CO from the 11th-17th. Breckenridge, Vail, or Keystone. Most likely spend a day at vail and the rest at Breckenridge.

I've got a Sims 157 board, cheap but gets the job done...i can't wait!
