I didn't mean to bash your work. The swap is impressive. But this is a safety issue. The way you have those things installed, the weight of the car isn't sitting on the plate but hanging off the mounting bolts. Those bolts are designed to support the weight of the struts when the suspension is fully unloaded...but they are not strong enough to support the full weight of the entire front end. Sooner or later they will fail.sigpic
