I'll be happy to once I get it installed. I've been too lazy the last few weeks to do anything on the car.Leave a comment:

Traded some parts + some cash.
If you're interested, shoot ZM Blue Devil a PM and see if he is interested in building more.
I suspect most R3V'rs will not pay what it takes to have a cluster fully rebuilt with new gears/SI board/resoldered joints + the CF/trim rings/painted needles/etc.Leave a comment:

^ +1, it looks even better in the car at night with the bmw amber glow. The rings hold the light in so it doesnt diffuse out.
Maybe he will take some pics when in the car and running.Leave a comment:

For some reason I really, really like the orange. I never felt the red that much...probably because most people just use a sharpie or something. But I think that looks great!Leave a comment:

why not pop the needle off one temp gauge and stick it on a replacement? That cluster looks great. Is it a carbon fiber frame or overlay? Makes me think of the wild cluster sold by BMP.. Probably costs less though.
Um a bit off topic, but what did you paint the needles with? I've got a dead coolant temp gauge in my Alpina cluster and that orange looks like it would do a good job of replicating the original needle color on a standard gauge.Leave a comment:
