    E30's @ H20i - The Picture Thread

Well, after a 16hr drive from the Ocean City strip back to Chicago, I'm finally home and the E30 is still in decent shape. She's moaning and groaning a bit more then usual, but nothing some new fluids can't remedy. Not bad for hitting 299k on the way home :) (and at 28mpg).

The show was amazing. There aren't too many sights more pleasing then an entire town taken over by built euros.

I condo'd with a fellow called Patrick (white E30) and later rendezvoused with a chap named Ethan (LedJetta - black E30). Also chatted with a couple other e30 owners along the way who's names escape me.

Patrick happens to be a fabulous photographer.

    Behold...

More shots to come from this shoot ^.

Many many more photos from the show here: Mizenko Ltd Photography

Post up yours if you went.

Your buddy should have taken more photos of your car on the passenger side. That dent sticks out like a sore thumb..

              This:

              > wire wheels. that green car is sick, but non wire wheels would make it so much sicker. When i see wire wheels i see candy paint and impalas.

Hell no, i hate the way that merc looks now on wires. It looked 10x better on the rs's last year.

                    No it wasn't.

Edit: how many other green old school mercedes do you see driving around full of guys with tight pants, plaid sweaters and thick glasses on. ;)

Unfortunately, my car doesn't currently have a dent free side so oh well.

It was entertaining watching people go to take a picture of it from the pass side, see the fender dent, walk to the drivers side to take the picture, then realize 'oh, that IS the good side.' :)

Ethan's black e30 pooed all over mine in body/paint condition. Still waiting for Patrick to upload the pics of his car.

                        Same Merc.
I love those Dayton's way more then the color matched RS's.
More photos of it in the gallery.

Well last year it was painted a really nice olive green. why would he spend the money for fresh paint and do it again a year later?
