Thinking about selling her. How much?

Like the title says, how much would do you think i could get for her.

I'm thinking i could sell it for more locally than on the web, especially rev, as it's a 325e. Also people always tell me that it looks pretty nice in person and more of a "damn thats clean" sense. I didn't know much about e30's when i bought it a year and a half ago and got over-priced.

    mods/ service:
    vogtland springs
    kyb struts
    ix flares skirts
euro bosch smilies custom smoked with cnc'd hairs
    6k hid's
    black sport seats
16x7,8 sportmax 513's (not the best but they look pretty decent on it)
205/50 contisport contact (front 90% tread left/ rear shot due to camber)
    TMS chip
custom smoked tails/turns/markers (professionally sprayed 90%clear 10%black basecoat)
    new alternator
    new starter
    22lb ford injectors
    drilled slotted rotors
    hawk pads
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, accessory belts, valve cover gasket, breather hose, distributor cap all replaced 2k miles ago.

    The bad:
    automatic
tach/speedo have mind of there own (205k on clock, est. at 225k)
    cracked dash
seats have some rips (not too bad though)
needs fuel pump (pump overheats in 95+ degree days and cuts off) otherwise runs great
needs suspension bushings, tie rods, guibo, etc (basic suspension maintenance)
motor goes through a quart of oil every 500 miles or so along with about a pint of coolant, but doesn't smoke or anything.

    onto some pics

Thanks for the help here. Be honest, although i do realize this isn't everyone's personal taste. :)

Hmm, i was hoping the 3,500 - 4,000 area locally.

The paint is in great shape for being mostly original. The hood, decklid, windshield, and trim that holds the windshield/ rear window in have all been replaced.
There's slight rust on the body but not too bad (the license plate light area is a little rough).

its and automatic, and its an eta, but it is so freaking clean! and clean sells, especially in the local non-enthusiast market. I would try for $3500.

but then again, in the local non-enthusiast market, the mileage will kill the price. Only true enthusiasts don't care about the mileage.

True, i had a 4.10 out of an 89 325i that would have been better. I was going to put that in but didn't get around to it.

Well i bought it with 200k on the odo and the seller informed me that e30's are tanks and i'll get many more miles out of it. This was very true, so i'll make sure the buyer knows that as well.

anything over 3k grab the money and run, but be prepared for 2500. I would suggest taking off the nicer items/wheels and selling to someone that is looking for a good daily or a first car for a kid.

Thanks for the input, but i wasn't really planning on parting it out. I think the sum of the parts/ car as a whole better has a better curb appeal and chance of selling for more money.

I just spent 6 months looking for an E30 Automatic, finally found a super clean, one owner car more by luck than anything else. The average seems to be about 3500-4500 for a very clean 88-91 auto, 4500 gets a one or two owner car, with full dealer service history, in mint shape.

2500-3500 gets a good car, that needs some work, theres some nice cars without any service history to be found in that price range, but you are looking at doing a water pump and timing belt etc straight away, so add that to the cost.

The bottom line though, is that a car is worth what someone will pay for it. personally, i would put it on ebay, cars always seem to make more there.

Take it to a decent high school or college area tag for 5000.00 OBO Kids love these cars.. In the meantime fix any small visible flaws.
                              Good luck,
