    If your record is clean and this is your first ticket, have you looked into taking a traffic school? That way points won't go on your record and your insurance won't go up. Sometimes your insurance company will ignore the first point anyway, some do.

      All depends on your state. Ive gone to court 2 times in FL waited like 4hrs each time only to learn charges were dropped. Also taken traffic school in FL and you get no points. Did he show you the speed on the radar? If not the charges would likely not stick, its worked for me before. I would prob go to court and just let your driving record speak for itself. Remember a judge is your honor not sir!
