    -tranny crossmember

you can bypass the auto tranny start relay take the BLK/YL wire from c200 and splice it into c241

if you look in your bentley page 21 section 15 youll see what iam talking about

youll need to install and wire in a clutch switch to keep your cruise control working

page 40 section 15 in the bentley manual will show how to wire it in

    - Resevoir is shared with brake fluid resevoir
    - front half of manual driveshaft is shorter, rear half is the same. Use whichever rear half is in better shape.
    - your list doesn't include master cylinder
    - you will need to bypass the neutral safety switch in order to start the car. If you have cruise control you will loose it unless you have a switch that bypasses the neutral safety override. I had my switch hidden as a ghetto-fabulous antitheft system.

I may be forgetting something but the swap is pretty simple, just labour intensive.

So if I can use that flywheel and gearbox it will be a cheap convention.

    Converting automatic to manual gearbox

Hi! I'm going to convert a E30 320i 1990 model from automatic to manual transmission and wonder what parts that is needed and what that will not fit the facelift car or not.
Is there big difference between facelift parts and pre-face parts?

    I've listed;
    -Transmission Getrag
    -Clutch
    -Flywheel
    -Pilot bearing
    -Driveshaft
    -Shifter mounts and shifter
    -Slave cylinder
    -Reservoir
    -Clutch/brake pedal.

Hope anyone can help me on this. I have a complete 1984 M20B20 w/transmission, flywheel +++ on the hand, but I will not buy if I cant use the flywheel and transmission.
    Thanks
Working...
