OH what to do? decision decisions........

Ok guys here's my delema. I just picked up a pretty decent 87 325is from a local garage that was going to send it off to be scrapped. I saw what this car had in it and jumped on it. For the most part the body is decent except the drivers side front fender has a few dents. Otherwise it's not really rotted out too much so thats good! What I have noticed so far without really digging into it too much is that it's loaded with performance parts! So far I've found eibachs with billy's, after market sway bars not sure of brand yet, complete nitrous set up with chip, K&N air filter, BAV auto headers and plug wires, Hella H4 headlights, SS break lines, M3 front valence, short shift kit, supersprint cat back exhaust and racing dynamics side skirts and rear wing. Now thats just from looking at it for a little bit. I haven't really even dug into it yet. Here's the problems it has. It needs a new gas tank, mid section on the exhaust busted and it also needs a new drive shaft which could all be done at the same time BUT according to the garage where it came from he thinks the engine may be smoked too (prob from the NOS). It was abandoned by it's orig owner so I don't even have keys to try and fire it up? So do I part it out and use the good stuff in my cabrio or do you think it's worth fixing it up to use as a driver? I did put a post up in here before with pics of the car before but I can't find it so you can see it for yourselves. If anyone knows how to find my past post please post a link up for others to see. Let me know what you alll think!

Test the motor to see if it's shit. And how much rust? That would determine the fate of the car

Swap in an m/s5x motor and go. Sounds like a good shell for it.

Just go down to the dealership and order a factory key. In about a week you will have a much better idea what to do.
