This is the rear left quarter panel for a BMW 3 Series 4-Door. It is in excellent condition with no dents or rust holes. All the inner panels are included. It is cut 8" forward of the manufacturer splice. It's free for the taking.

I think my girlfriend may think I'm crazy due to the amount of parts I accumulate and store in my apartment. Oh well. This should solve the rust I have in my rear door jamb, rocker area. He threw in a few other goodies, Most of which I don't need. I'll keep the tow hook and get rid of the rest. Very awesome! :pimp:

Maybe I should add a third?!?!?! My computer was giving me a hard time while posting, hence, the two threads. If you click on the other, you will see that I already stated that it was a double post, and to disregard it! Eat S***!:hitler:

Bad enough to be able to fit my finger inside the rocker panel and clean out all the rust dust. It looked like a small spot till i touched it with a metal tool, it grew quickly!

i think what he meant was it is a semi major deal to do a qtr panel and have it turn out right for the back yard body guy/shade tree mechanic.

if you decide to tackle it yourself , let me know and i can give you some guidence.

I'm planning on R&Ring the individual rust spots. Having something that is preformed, and cutting it out to fit will be so much easier than fabricating replacement panels yourself. But any guidance and/or tips would be appreciated.

I remember when that guy wanted money for that a few months back. At least it sounds like you'll get some good use from it.

For sure, I'm surprised no one picked it up before I did. It was a steal!!!

Luckily these cars don't rust too bad. Or maybe it's just most aren't worth enough to warrant rust repairs. LOL. In Seattle at least they don't rust.

Is the other side solid? Normally these rust issues don't choose sides. Did the car spend time back east?

Other side is solid. There is surface rust in a few various places all over the car but this is the bad spot. The only other bad spot is the license plate light area. The car came from Canada, and I am unaware of what they use for snow/ice prevention.

They use SALT... NEVER buy Canadian cars for that reason alone.

                              ???

We use sand and gravel, nothing else. Canada is a rather big country you know.
