He probably saw 100mph. Sounded perfect to me. I could here the turbo spooling over my left shoulder. He flew passed me on the left. That confirmed the turbo. He was first at the next light or I would have raced him off the line. I was behind other cars.

A british guy built the car, it was originally Alpine. He was having trouble tuning it, not sure if he got it ironed out. No guages whatsoever. I kept telling him he needs a wideband, that motor's on borrowed time.

I hit 80+ on SR441 (50mph zone). We had to weave thru traffic a bit. It wasn't head to head at the light. I got a good jump and kept into it. So he was a good 8 car lengths behind when he had open road and blew by me.

Wreckless driving and racing tickets flashed thru my mind, then I let up.
