What does this white wire connect to?

it's been a loooong time since i removed the stereo..

Request for help on where/what this white wire connects to. It comes out from behind the instrument cluster area and has two connection terminals. I saw this same wire (same color/location/connection points) in an early model e30 at the salvage yard today. (also hanging out from head unit void)

yep - it runs back to the antenna unit in the boot. cool - bugs me when something random is just hanging there.. thanks
