    pop-up blocker

Just reformatted the hard drive after the little sis wreaked havoc over Thanksgiving break. Anyone know of a solid pop-up blocker that I should download? I was using netscape before but Internet Explorer is so much faster its not even funny.

Use Firefox. I haven't had a pop up in months.

I use the Google Search Tool for my Internet Explorer, and does the job for me.

And uninstall IE for the morons that might use your computer.

IE is actually pretty difficult to uninstall.. just delete the desktop shortcut and set firefox as your default browser. It worked for my family. They never even noticed I swapped on em.

Google is about as good of a pop-up blocker as I've seen, and it still sucks. Just go with firefox! It's not a big deal to "get used to it".

Yeah it is...My dad has a book on XP hacks, and it talks about how Microsoft deliberetly made it so some apps are very hard to uninstall...go figure, why would they want you to uninstall there programs?

so Im running Firefox now and it seems to work pretty well. I like how it tells you it blocks a pop-up unlike netscape. Seems quick enough too.

IE is really easy to uninstall.. you can download a small program that does it for you.
