do they have a redwood credit union there? there are banks that are lower profit. they're more for loans and building credit not puting you in dept on purpose so they can default your rate. Ive seen this documentary and most of these banks are fucking EVIL to the core, just disgusting.

i have a MC and Visa and both are gas cards...

Hess and Shell 1% back on purchases and 3-5% back on gas.

                Highly recommended.

I wouldn't do credit cards either.
Have a debit card. If you don't have enough money for a trip, don't go on it.
If you really need to, borrow from a friend/relative.
Just leave the leeches out of the game.

unless you ever want to own a home...

either get a card and stay ontop of the payments or save evry penny you have...because you will need it when it comes time to apply for a mortgage without a revolving credit line purchase history

I called BMW Bank to clarify. This rate was only for BMW employees. THe regular rate is around 8.25% for thoes with "elite" level credit , sorry for the confusion.

Well you are in a much better situation than what is assumed for the OP. IN your case with establighed redit history and no intention to reloacte...avoiding credit cards is a viable option
