    where to buy headliner?

I've searched through a ton of threads about headliners and thankfully now know how to install it, but I can't find anything recent on where to buy a pre-cut headliner. Or am I stuck and just need to buy material and go at it?

^ thats what i would recommend, just buy the correct fabric adhesive and take your time.

You would be a lot better off making your own. If anything, cut the fabric a little large to give yourself some wiggle room. All of the original headliners have become fairly brittle with their age and are very tough to remove in one piece. A fresh one will look better and last longer, no doubt about it.

You can buy it from the dealer.
It's part number 5 in this diagram, there are several part numbers listed for #5 in the link below, good luck finding the right one.

The multiple part numbers are just different colors. And one of them has the sunroof liner discontinued, so really, you only have one option to get it from the dealer.

It's cheaper to make your own isn't it?

If by cheaper you mean making a bunch of attempts at doing it right and then end up with something that doesn't even fit right....unless you do headliners all day I would just buy the oem one and call it a day.

I might be interested Levent. I'm going to look at/buy a new e30 tomorrow and depending on what shape it is in I'll either be needing a new one or end up dyeing it. What type of dye do you use? My buddy Yun has done it before but it's always nice to know what others are doing. Who knows I may just go with an Alcantara headliner.

I'll go ahead and dye the ones we have and put them up for sale.

                            1 sedan sunroof
                            1 coupe non sunroof
